POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

We want you to feel the joy of dance, emerging in an energetic and vibrant environment that invites you to be curious and learn about other cultures. Learn new things with new people and build a community that will make life more enriching.

We believe in having fun and dancing with everyone. We enjoy great humor, cheekiness, and the power of not taking oneself seriously.

In order to make a great class happen, however, we have a few expectations. To put it simply by attending Milla Dance Studio or events, You’ve agreed to always mind your manners, behave like a cordial human being. So have a read:

  1. This is a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of gender/gender identity, sexual orientation, race, age, disability, physical appearance, religion etc. We do not tolerate harassment of any kind, verbal, physical, or emotional. If you harass any student, you will be asked to leave.

  2. Students are not allowed to contact other students without their approval either via E-mails or by phone, Student information confidential.

  3. Be aware of your physical boundaries and where you’re enthusiastically dancing that you don’t hurt others and if you do say sorry!. We all share one dance floor.

  4. While dancing either in class or on the social floor, do not offer unsolicited dance advice to your fellow dancers. Take any observations to the teacher. We don’t want to annoy any dancer or create an uncomfortable situation for the teacher, we are all learning every day.

  5.  Always respect personal boundaries.

  6. Care in personal hygiene is essential in any partner dancing. Please make sure that your body odor, and clothing are pleasantly clean and fresh.

  7. No students or parents are permitted to record or take photographs in class without permission from the teacher.

WHAT TO WEAR

It is recommended to dance barefoot to feel the connection with the floor but if you prefer to dance with shoes that is fine too, in this case, I will recommend a great supported Runner.
