Young, vibrant and eager! Grew up in Cali- Colombia, had always bounded with Afro-Colombian music and had a constant curiosity about exploring her African heritage through music and dance. When she was 7 years old she performed in multiple events and enter a very prestigious dance competition called “Mono Nuñez” in Cali.  When she was 11 years old she undertook classes in Cumbia, Bullerengue, and Mapale. Afro-Colombian music connects her with her inner soul, reminds her of her great grandmother and her love for Afro-Colombian rhythms.  

Being far away from home has made her more conscious of the fact that within her she carries the lineage and ancestries so dance is her way of honoring them.
